Just before the end of the last semester I decided to let the students make another popsicle project. I designed the holder around the square base so the whole thing was completely improvised as we made it. The students enjoyed it and they all got an eraser and a 2B pencil from their teacher.
nice pencil holder
What glue are you using?
I use PVA (polyvinyl acetate) or white wood glue as we call it here, it’s the best for wood and dries transparent. The tubes were held together with sticky tape not glue. Just lay 16 sticks side by side and use 3 pieces of sticky tape to hold them together, the larger tube has 18 sticks. The base and small tube uses 9.5 cm sticks and the large tube uses 11.5 cm sticks. Have fun.
Hi,
Looks excellent! 🙂 Do you have any step by step instructions for how to create this?
If you do, can you email them to me at tmf985@gmail.com
Thanks
