We simply call ourselves the DIY family. Over the years we have spent many evenings and weekends just building, designing and making wonderful small creations to give away as gifts or for teaching small children how to be creative. My wife has crocheted, cross stitched, quilted, silk painted etc. so many wonderful gifts for family and friends and still finds time to produce lovely little works of art. My son loves creative building and from a very early age has amazed us with his designs and mazes. Now he designs electronic projects and helps me with my designs.

I love your Popsicle stick projects. I bought a pack of Popsicle sticks the other day just for the heck of it and decided to maybe make myself a cute birdhouse. It didn’t turn out the way I had planned in my mind. A question I have is how do you fill in those gaps in the corners where each wall meet ? I used 13 popsicle sticks for each wall but there’s a wide gap in each corner. How can I fill those in or avoid those ??

  The problem is you used 13 sticks to build the walls and the length of a popsicle stick glues 15 together. I have put basic instructions on my downloads page, which shows how many sticks go where and what length. Take a look and hopefully you will have success. Thanks for the comment.

I Have been researching paddle pop houses and designs for some time with the intentions of making some of my own and just like to say what a great site you have here! Very helpful and motivating! I am doing a science project and I happened to stumble on your cardboard iMac design and I think it’s really cool! But the only problem is that i need to have the inside hollowed out and be able to insert stuff in in it. A question I have is would I be able to use your designs and still have it be stable? Also what did you print the designs on??

Hi DIY Family
I like your popsicle stick buildings. I have been bending, shaping, molding craft sticks of all shapes for over three years.
I have now a web site http://www.craftstickbending.com I will be teaching the skills and techniques I’ve learned, much of witch will be for free however, I will sell a DVD & bending kit. Any comments about my new craft would be appreciated. I also have a new video on the introduction to Craftstickbending.com see it on the content gallery page.
