This lamp was designed for my students, I thought I would give them an electrical project to build. It truly is very simple with just a few popsicle sticks and a piece of paper. Most of the work was making the electrical cable with a switch. The cube lamp in the pictures is my own personal version, the students made a normal flat standing cube.

Oh I like this one alot. Gives a Asian look and reminds me of a Japanese house I visited in Japan with my Mom when I was a kid. The rice paper windows and doors lit up softly just like this lamp. I’d love to make this one someday.

To all those interested in making this beautiful lamp, I will create the instructions during the winter vacation and post them on my blog. Thank you everyone for your interest. Just to let you know I did this project in a high school class of 26 students, they all made one and were very proud.
